  Hello you wonderful person who just entered my personal not-so-private page. You are now in a place where you will learn things about me that even my closest friends may not know.

Here on those pages is the story of a sweet love and my love of sweets.

   First, you need to know I decided to make blog to share the story of a young woman through the big steps of her life. I love romantic stories and I think every girl does. I always wanted to follow someone who is like me, desperate to get a ring and begin the preparations for her wedding, get a house and make kids. But all there seem to be in the "blog world" is pregnant moms, a girl just engaged or already married and trying to get knocked-up. So instead of waiting for that blog to come, I am making it ! PLUS. I'm covering my cakes and sweets creations. I will show how to make beautiful cake, cupcakes and other pastries.

About Eli

I know this page is called "About me" but my boyfriend made me what I am today. My life and plans all changed because of him.

    We met in THE place I thought was the worst place to meet someone... A nightclub! In my opinion, it's hard to find someone serious in that kind of place. You mostly get those guys that only wants to have fun, not necessarily get a girlfriend at the end of the week. 

    I was that girl. Not carrying about having a boyfriend. I was going to college the same month and I didn't really want to get into a serious relationship. I never had and thought I never would be that kind of relationship. 

    At this time, I wanted to be a flight attendant. Travel all around the world, meet different people, discover wonderful places and learn about other cultures and history. For that, you don't need a boyfriend. Actually, you must NOT have a boyfriend! I realized that when I fell in love with Eli. I couldn't bare the thought of leaving so often the country, without him with me. Those places, those cultures, those people, I wanted to see it WITH him. I wanted to shared those moments with him. 

    I was only 17 when we met. He was 25, which makes a good difference of 8 years between us. I was so young I couldn't present him to my parents! I even moved to his place before they even meet!

   So my life took a turn I never would have expected. I moved with him very soon. He learned me how to cook, how to take care of a house, how to act with older people, how to be responsible. I am very grateful for that because looking back to what I was before I met him, I couldn't have done this without him. 

    Four and a half years later, I'm a fully responsible woman with great values, cooking abilities, obsessed with cleaning and ready to run a family of my own. All of this because of my wonderful boyfriend, that some times make me wonder if he gave me all those skills and didn't keep any of it !!!

    Life with Eli is easy. We laugh, we have fun all the time with each other, we even turn our fights into jokes. We discover new things together, we go out often with friends or on romantic dates. We mostly have the same opinion on everything. It works because not only we love each other, Eli is also my best friend. I think it's very important to find a friend in your lover because at one point, when you realize the passion is over and you don't have that much in common, you wonder what's left of the relationship.

  

Here is 15 things you don't need to know about me 
(But I tell you anyway..)

1. I am a french Canadian- English is my second language.
2. I have an Abyssinian cat named Pasha, my son. I might publish some videos of him one day so you can see how amazing he is :).
3. I am a breakfast waitress and have to wake up at 5am almost every day!
4. Making cakes and cupcakes is my passion, but I don't like eating them...
5. My mom always wanted to keep me busy when I was young. I did gymnastics, figure skating, jazz, ballet, and hip-hop dance, cheerleading. I also had guitar lessons, singing lessons, I was in a theatre, I played musical comedies, painting and drawing courses, swimming and diving lessons, and probably more that I don't remember. Thanks mom! 
6. I'm a vampire addict but I have a horror movie phobia. ( Real phobia.....)
7. I eat my popcorn very strangely. I eat the crunchy part first and keep all the soft parts for the end! 
8. Before meeting my boyfriend, I couldn't even cook an egg. I made delicious milkshakes tho...
9. I have 1 brother, 4 stepsister, and 1 stepbrother, so my close family counts 11 people with my parents and stepparents.
10. I waited for Professor Dumbledore to get me to Hogwarts until I was 14 years old.
11. I (almost) only listen to Jazz, Classical, Trance and Christmas music, other types of music make me wanna hit my face on a wall and cry. I hate radio songs that play on and on for weeks months. 
12. I saw the first movie of The Lord of The Ring more than 36 times. Actually, I stopped counting after 36 times.....
13. I named my first dog Buffy,  after Buffy the vampire slayer.
14. I have the stupid habit of bitting my nails. I just can't stop even if I want to... Some people say it's an addiction. I say it's a malediction!!!
15. I am addicted to lingerie.
